Our client
An experienced Gas Planning & Support Manager is required for a Senior Position within a large Onshore Oil & Gas Operator in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will be responsible to:
Directs and monitors the translation of Gas Division strategy and vision into measurable business objectives and process value chain in alignment with company best practices while adhering to Gas Division organisational culture.
Leads the establishment of Quality and Performance Improvement Framework that creates value from managing knowledge-based strategies that deploy the assets within the organisation, such as, employee competencies, customer relationship, company guidelines, strategies, business processes, information technologies, data base and management actions. This includes a procedural framework providing guidelines and standards within, which Gas Division critical business processes, Key Performance Indicators, Business Risks and uncertainties can be identified and continuously managed.
Coordinates the development of integrated short, medium and long term plans and work schedules for appraisal and field development activities within Gas Division. Including compiling the Division’s five (5) year plan, annual budget and work programs in line with company guidelines.
Provides staff assistance and technical advice to department heads.
Monitors Gas Division Projects including the establishment of a quality policy, standards and performance measurement quality systems for information gathering, analysis, and interpretation to ensure projects completion with customer and staff satisfaction in line with Gas Division and business objectives.
Coordinates communication and interfaces with clients for all associated and non-associated Gas activities.
Manages the preparation, presentation, and Finance control of the Division’s annual budget.
Manages the Gas Division contracts preparation, administration and control in line with company policy and procedures.
Directs and oversees the provision of sound administrative services to the Gas Division.
The successful must have:
Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering or relevant Engineering / Science discipline.
15-18 years varied experience in Drilling, production, petroleum and reservoir engineering, including 3 years in supervisory position
In depth knowledge of Performance/Business Improvement and Quality Systems such as, ISO 9000, Excellence Model, BSC and Six Sigma.
Extensive experience in systems, policies and procedures creation methodologies.
In-depth knowledge of projects and risk management practices.
Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.
