Suitable candidates will be responsible for:

Responds by day and night to emergency incidents involving Fire, Hydrocarbon and Toxic Gas Release, Rescue, Vehicle Rescue, Fire Loss Control, Biological and Radioactive related situations on a 24/7 basis.

During any incident, supervises Fire and Rescue Team personnel and Auxiliary Fire Team members as appropriate and assumes responsibilities of On-Scene Commander.

Post holder works on an 8 hour shift day basis and is required to respond to incidents at night outside of his normal working hours as required by the facilities Response Plan. Work covers the industrial area, jetty, tank farm, utilities, administration, warehousing and accommodation facilities.

Develops and advises F&R-SC on all matters related to fire training including: codes and standards, emergency response, fire fighting plans and techniques, evacuation procedures, all aspects of Firemen's professional training (both team competencies and individual career development), including UAE Nationals, to internationally recognized standards and qualifications.
Ensures that the Fire Brigade is trained and ready to respond to calls for mutual aid assistance honouring commitment and obligations. Liases with all other mutual aid partners, develops mutual effective training whereby all members become fully conversant with one anothers facilities, risks, fire procedures, systems and equipment.
