Connect Group are looking for a Director of Risk to work in Saudi Arabia for a major Mining company on a residential basis.

Position

To lead, facilitate and guide the development and enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) concept, framework, processes and corporate wide strategies; develop policies, procedures, and work instructions corporate wide related to Strategic Risks, Financial Risks, Operational Risks, Hazard Risks, Construction risk, Reporting Risks and Compliance Risks; setting systems to forecast and mitigate/avoid risks to the business and assets. Place insurance programs corporate wide including for construction phase, operations, etc…

Experience/ Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Engineering
- A further recognized postgraduate (e.g. MBA), accountancy or banking qualification, is preferable
- Experience with using spreadsheet applications (e.g. Excel), market information systems (e.g. Reuters), treasury workstations or similar management information systems and decision support analytical tools.
10 - 5 years of Treasury, Investment and/or Program, Project Management experience in relation to Risk Management; of which at least the last 3 years have been in Managerial position undertaking similar type of duties in a well reputed large project oriented organization/bank/financial institution
