Our Client has a vacancy for a Subsea Production System Package Planner. This is a contract position, based initially in Norway.As Subsea Production System (SPS) Package Planner, you will be responsible for the delivery of the Project Planning Function for the Subsea Production System Supply and Installation package. You will prepara, update and maintain project schedules, liaising with company and contractor planning representatives. You will also participate in the preparation of project planning procedures, making sure they are adhered to throughout the project. Other Subsea Production System Package Planner responsibilities will be: To participate as required in the integration of schedules into the overall project schedule. Defining and maintaining the work breakdown structure working closely with the Lead Planner and Cost Controllers. Participating in the analysis and evaluation of bids. Reviewing and commenting on contractor’s schedules at contract award to ensure realistic milestones & key dates are established. Updating company schedule for analysis and reporting. Analysing and perform ‘what-if’ simulations, proposing corrective actions when project milestones are threatened. Developing and maintaining highly effective & productive relationships with both the project team members & contractor representatives to ensure all parties are informed & involved in planning matters as appropriate. Requirements: ONC/HND/HNC/Degree in a technical subject and/or appropriate experience. Significant experience in Oil & Gas industry including experience in large construction projects. In-depth knowledge & experience of Primavera Project Management. Experienced in use of planning tools and techniques. High level of computer literacy. The salary for this position is negotiable.
