BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Our client currently undertakes work for a number of clients in the civil and defence sectors. The emerging need to manage CE&I obsolescence to maximise the life of existing plants indicate the opportunity for further business growth in 2010/11, with a particular focus on testing and commissioning replacement CE&I systems at nuclear power stations.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following essential attributes:

� 10 - 15 years + years experience in a CE&I Inspection role

� Willingness to work from client sites, initially in France but completing at a UK nuclear power station.

� Fluency in English

Candidates offering civil nuclear experience or defence-related nuclear experience will be of interest. For the range of work which we are seeking to support, experience in authoring C&I test procedures, and conducting testing/ commissioning at works or site within a strong quality culture is important.

Note will also be taken of experience gained in IEC 61508 or the application of similar client-specific safety guidelines, for equipment up to SIL2.

The roles will be base in Grenoble in France for 2-3 years full time no rotation. 6 Months will also be spent at Dungeness B DPS Power Station.

Heavy CE&I Install, Inspection and Commissioning are required however we will asses people who have a Heavy Electrical Engineering background too.

They are looking to pay candidates £24.00-£26.00 per hour plus all expenses.
