Your role as Chief Geophysicist will be to lead a team, promote the Company’s involvement in relevant industry consortia, monitor and promote the use of new techniques and provide a focal point on geophysical matters for senior management. You will manage a team conducting 2D/3D seismic data interpretations on various commercial and/or proprietary software systems. Previous experience in:
Integrating geologic, well and geophysical data Mastering workflows:
- Calibrations
- Geometries and attributes interpretation
- Depth conversion and mapping.
- Geomodelling. and, Field appraisal and development studies.
• Reporting and data management
• Mentoring junior interpreters. would be expected as a given. Educated to MSc/PhD level you will have 12-15 years of experience in the oil industry, most of which you have gained working within an operating oil company. You are able to communicate fluently in both written and spoken English
