Procurement Co-ordinator, Global Production Operations - Denmark We are looking for a Procurement Co-ordinator to a newly established Global Production Operations Department. The main objective for the department is to leverage purchasing and contracting power and to establish and maintain governance of procurement and contracting. Essential Responsibilities include: • Be a focal point to help co-ordinate procurement activities in collaboration with procurement colleagues in the operating units and Corporate Drilling. • Assist in strengthening the commercial mindset to derive economical benefits from procurement and an innovative approach to this area. • Develop and push cost saving ideas and initiatives. • Develop TCO/TVO models for and help push the methodology across the organization. • Be involved in SRM with major strategic customers – hereunder co-ordinating the development of key vendor approach jointly with individual operating units and Corporate Drilling. • Co-ordination across operating units, sharing best practices and knowledge. • Map and analyse data on current spend patterns and understand cost drivers. • Gather and analyse data on market developments • Analyse and track target fulfilment of procurement efforts. • Maintain an up-to-date complete overview of spend. • Be a focal point for procurement benchmarking. • Responsible for maintaining the Procurement site on the intranet. You are able to gain respect within the organization, be in a position to discuss technical standardization across the different operating units, help securing that design to cost mindset becomes an integral part of the Total Cost of Ownership philosophy we wish to drive, and to challenge the existing when required. Qualifications You preferably have a technical background (e.g. engineering) and at least a few years’ of practical experience. A proven track-record from the energy sector, coupled with procurement knowledge and good analytical skills will be considered an advantage. As you will become part of an international organization with offices around the world you have to be proficient in verbal and written English.
