Location: Paris, France

Start: Monday ASAP

Role: Contract

Rate: �330 per day

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The primary function of the Inspection Coordinator will be to provide Inspection support services to the client upgrading project projects. As Inspection Coordinator you will be responsible for allocation of and coordination of required project Purchase order support activities ensuring control of final Client deliverables and resource schedules for your assigned projects. Primarily full co-ordination of IIA independent inspection authorities, including mobilisation to vendors works; ensuring that all company procedures and compliance are adhered to deliverables are IRN ensuring inspection release notes are received logged filed , inspection reports are reviewed checked and approved, acceptance of material test certificates for all orders, checking of quantities as required into SAP system. Co-ordination and liaison as necessary with the IIA.

Developing and maintaining good relationships with internal and external Client and project procurement department. Assist the Project Management and procurement teams with planning, technical input, scheduling and resource allocation to meet project goals & objectives. You will be expected to support desk and filed expeditors during purchase order lifecycle as well a requirement to work with the Inspection team leader and report as necessary.

The role reports to the Project Procurement Manager for the -matters related to the organization of the Inspection activities within the Project (coordination, planning, reporting)

You will participate in the set up of package inspection levels, to issue the Inspection Matrix and log inspection data in specific systems used. liaise with the Certifying Authority IIA�??s and the Client for their involvement in the inspection process.

You will review the Suppliers Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), ensure timely review and approval by the Project team prior to manufacturing.

You will assign IIA�??s Inspectors to Purchase Orders, provide them with documentation, coordinate inspections, and notify potential attendee�??s for pre inspection meetings.

You will distribute periodically the updated Vendor Inspection Plan (VIP) informing the Project team about the status of project inspections.

You will ensure that ITPs are properly implemented and marked-up by reviewers

Compile inspection reports and inspection release notes (certificates) (IRN�??s), review and Distribute inspection reports and review as necessary.

Managing the resolution of the Non Conformance Reports (NCR) and Outstanding Work Lists (OWL)

Skills

1. Sound understanding of Project EPC project execution procedures along with clients specific QA/QC compliances.

2. Able to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines

Qualifications

1. Educated to HNC/HND level or higher in an Engineering related subject and preferably hold Institute of Quality CQI and or Welding certificate - CSWIP 3.4U

2. IRCA registered Lead Auditor

3. Past history of inspection coordination

1. Willing to travel at short notice and flexible in approach to other European destinations
