Qualifications Required:

Engineering Degree - Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineer, Hydrodynamics, Naval Architecture.

Experience Required:

Extensive knowledge and experience in the Offshore Engineering industry with engineering and management experience.
Setting up of a QMS - Quality Management System.
Define Technical areas of improvement.
For subcontracts: negotiation of offers, supervision of scope of work and change orders.
Ensuring HSEQ is complied with.
Represent the company at various professional bodies.
Resource management - define permanent and temporary staff resources.
Propose engineering budgets at tender stage and revised budgets and project stage.
Monitoring engineering man-hours etc.
Review of engineering deliverables.
Supervise and approve documents produced for tenders and projects.
Approve timesheets
Control external invoices.
