Overview: Our client is a provider of consultancy, engineering and project management services to the energy industry. The client is looking to recruit an HR Generalist for their London City based office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Job Description: • Develop & maintain positive customer & stakeholder relationships with internal and external clients. • Lead and support the development and integration of robust performance management systems. • Lead the development of integrated resource management. • Develop and support HR team, ensuring good employee relations by knowledge and promotion of HR Best Practice and active engagement of employee representatives, Trade Unions and employees • Advise & participate in the completion and submission of HR sections of Bid documents. • Demonstrate and promote the principles of Safety Essentials at all times. • Develop & maintain effective communications with SHEQ department • Participate in Emergency Response responsibilities. • Oversee & monitor correct use of Company Recruitment, selection and Induction processes ensuring Best Practice & Company policy for all designated projects and functions • Oversee & monitor correct use of Company Occupational Health and absence management processes. • Oversee & monitor correct use of Company termination & redundancy procedures. • Co-ordinate termination/redundancy programmes via effective HR planning • Oversee & monitor correct use of Company Discipline & Grievance procedures. • Support designated customers & colleagues in redundancy, grievance and discipline investigations, hearings and appeals. • Support the HR Business Partners, HR Operations Manager and wider operational HR team in responsibilities & projects. • Provide support to ensure all HR systems are accurately updated and maintained. • Assist in recruitment and selection of personnel using resourcing centres and support structured interviewing for all long term international positions. • Provide liaison role between the project and functions in UK and within EWA region as well as HR network globally • Support function and project personnel in international business trips through liaison with medical and tax advisers ensuring duty of care. • Liaise with relevant personnel for the reassignment and mobilisation of personnel onto international business trips
