„X Develop proposals for the Corporation¡¦s Mission, Objectives and Strategies in coordination with all departments.
„X Develop strategies to meet the objectives
„X Develop and update the Planning Manual.
„X Coordinate departmental plans to ensure the corporate mission and objectives are respected and addressed.
„X Participate in international/regional technical workshops/conferences
„X Prepare additional electricity production plans taking into consideration all environmental, technological and siting aspects.
„X Conduct generation planning using appropriate software
„X Advise on technology selection for new electricity capacity projects
„X Conduct feasibility studies for power exchange and trading deals to enable commencement of negotiations with proposed customers.
Qualifications & experience:
„X Degree level in a technical (preferably electricity based) or business discipline (preferably at post-graduate level)
„X The ability to complement technical education with business skills or vice versa.
„X 10 years technical and business experience in the electricity industry, with direct experience in corporate planning and financial analysis and economic feasibility studies.
„X Excellent English speaking, reading & report writing skills are essential.
