OrionGroup are currently recruiting for a Planning & Reporting Coordinator. This is a contract position, based in Kazakhstan, on a residential basis.As Planning & Reporting Coordinator, you will supervise the Installation, Hook Up & Pre-commissioning planning team and ensure delivery of a robust and effective Planning System to Plan, control, monitor and report the progress of all scopes of work associated with the Contracts managed by the Installation, Hook Up & Pre-commissioning Manager. You will also develop, evaluate and maintain project plans and master schedules based on input from project technical/commercial personnel, project controls manager and contractors, implementing project standards and procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of the offshore hook up work sequencing and progress measurement. The Planning & Reporting Coordinator will also be responsible for: Providing full planning, work management and analysis of fabrication, construction, installation, hook up and pre-commissioning/commissioning activities and related work packages as well as procurement of materials and equipment. Supervising all the Installation, Hook Up & Pre-commissioning Planners located in the various sites. Ensuring plans are tracked and reported. Evaluating, analyzing highlighting and offering solutions to trends that may result in schedule slippages. Be pro-active in all matters relating to Planning and Risk Analysis and maintain all plans in readiness for timely reporting. Candidates for the Planning & Reporting Coordinator position must have the following knowledge and skills: Strong design, construction and logistics experience, being able to identify and provide solutions to schedule and planning problems. Knowledge of computer based planning tools, e.g. MS Project/Primavera P3 and P3ec including Microsoft suite e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Familiar with the operational aspects of offshore production and platform facilities and offshore operations is preferred but is not a prerequisite for this position. Ability to prepare strategic plans to ensure that the planning tools are capable of meeting the company's operational and business needs. Ability to assist in management reviews of existing appraisal work activities and performance measurement. Ability to create/update planning estimating/control methods to reflect the latest engineering and Project Execution philosophies. Experience and qualifications required: Engineering HND or equivalent. Substantial experience in either planning or in a project management role. Experience of Petrochemical Projects, and of working directly or indirectly for a major oil company. Experience in preparing and executing control procedures for planning, and in project installation, hook-up, pre-commissioning, start-up sequence and logic planning.
