„X Preparation of econometric forecasts of short and long-term electricity and water consumption
„X Assist in tariff and cost of service studies as required and develop appropriate recommendations
„X Conduct cost benefit studies of tariff reforms
„X Develop and maintain forecasting models
„X Research and analysis of customer characteristics, behaviour and attitudes
„X Provide analysis to assist in negotiations power and water purchase contracts
„X Assess the implications of tariff reform on macroeconomic parameters and customer sectors
„X Prepare periodic reports/studies/briefing papers pertaining to demand, supply and tariffs within Qatar and international comparisons/benchmarks
„X Enhance the financial models that provide forecasts
„X Work with and supervise consultants
Qualifications & experience:
„X Degree in Economics preferably at post-graduate level with major in econometrics, macroeconomics or quantitative economics
„X Minimum 10 years relevant experience preferably in utilities.
„X Excellent English speaking, reading & report writing skills are essential.
