My client an international Oil and Gas Subsea Installation Contractor has a vacancy for a Project Engineering Manager.Roles & Responsibilities: Within project constraints, manage an operational segment of Engineering or Construction by directing, developing, communicating and implementing the company's direction and strategic goals. Contribute to business development and marketing internally to the company's employees as well as externally to the clients. Support the pursuit of project opportunities and identify the resources and training necessary. May participate in early development of strategy, implementation and execution phases. Responsibilities may include business development, budget control, project & resource management, engineering operations, performance management, training and all other related business activities. Identify applications for existing and new technologies, and communicate best practices throughout the team. Establish goals and objectives for engineering operations and make operational decisions. Fully endorse and execute all legislative initiatives Oversee and direct key areas of discipline engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements and current good engineering practice. Understand clients' needs; independently evaluate, organise and prioritise work for self and others. Oversee production of deliverables, which may include engineering support to DO, design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, study reports and various 3rd-party submissions. Sign and issue technical documentation as approver, accepting personal responsibility for its adequacy. Ensure project fitness-for-purpose, legislative compliance and adherence to project budget & schedule.
