Company Profile
Location: Calgary, Alberta with 50% travel included as part of the job requirements. **Must be a Canadian Citizen.**
Education: Engineering Degree in a related discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical).

Position Responsibilities
•The position will report to the Engineering Equipment Manager and V.P. of Engineering at Floquip
•This position will have Project Engineering responsibilities including generating proposals, adhering to industry standards, working with third party engineering firms, fabrication management, start-up assistance, and troubleshooting
•The candidate should be able to effectively interface with reservoir, facilities, exploitation, civil, electrical, chemical, and mechanical engineering. The work environment is composed of a small team instead of a large company environment
•The responsibility of project conception to on-time completion, including packaging, testing and installation is paramount to the success of a Project Engineer
•Frequent customer visits, training, start-up services, troubleshooting, vendor evaluations, exhibitions, and professional trade meetings all require travel (50%)
•This individual will be required to work closely with the EOR Group in Calgary and the SNF Energy Services Group in Fort McMurray
•Excellent presentation and communication skills are mandatory for this position and the candidate must be able to justify and present ideas to customers. This will provide SNF with a local presence and establish our credibility within the EOR industry
•The flow of information from customer to SNF Floerger must be timely and accurate. Keeping accurate records is critical to providing effective service and ongoing customer support. Organizational skills required to manage/support multiple concurrent projects
•Manage all local contract labor associated with Floquip Equipment
•Maintain adequate stock levels of equipment components in the Edmonton warehouse
•Obtain knowledge of industry codes, regulations, product safety standards, and a diverse array of industry specific oil and gas processes to customize preparation equipment. This will contribute to sustainable development of the SNF organization
•Prepare supportive documentation including but not limited to operation and maintenance manuals, instrument indexes, controls narratives, maintenance procedures, startup procedures, risk assessments, system specifications, design criteria, and scope of work
•Must be able to provide FEED support for oil and gas related projects
