The Company

You will be working for Yemen’s premier engineering, construction and project management Company, specialising in EPC contracts with large oil and gas operators. My client associates themselves with three specific areas of expertise including: process plant installation / Pipelines and storage tank facilities.

The Project

The contract is for the laying of a vast pipeline for a super major in oil and gas, the contract is due to last around 3 years.

The Role

The role will be mainly associated with the supervision of a large local workforce of around 1000 people, however you will be required to act as client liaison at various points.

The Requirements – Required Skills and Experience

• Must have 15-20 years experience in Project Management position, with well versed EPC contractor companies, in the field of Oil and Gas construction.

• Having experience in tracking productivity "PM" Skills, organization of manpower, equipments, resources for all around jobs: Civil, Mechanical, Piping/Pipelines, Structural, Foundations works, Buildings.etc

• Must have excellent reporting skills and computers software knowledge

• Must have excellent ability to communicate in English, both reading & writing

• Must have a good confidence in handling end client and liaising with them for project related matters.

• Must be able to handle workforce up to 1000 persons, organize them into their different disciplines with disciplined Supervisors..

• Active in his workplace and well versed with projects in O&G

• Must be well versed with Engineering Standards and QC practices.

• Degree preferable not essential

• Professional membership preferable not essential.
