Production of design details and associated drawings / general arrangement of structures and mechanical plant, layouts and procedural drawings using various CAD systems Drawing component and assemble drawings Designing detailed components Checking of drawings and data Preparation of basic calculations for weld/bolt/member selection using design computer systems and by hand calculation Preparation of bills of materials and purchase requisitions Preparation of detailed reports(FEED submissions, work packs) Supervise testing of unit designs Assistance with updating and maintenance of drawings and records and be proactive in system improvement initiatives to support Quality Management System Undertake client visits to support specific projects, or business development as required – this could include international travel and/or offshore visits Carrying out site and offshore dimensional surveys and preparing detailed survey reports Adhering to company and client document control standards, ensuring consistent checking of drawings and data Project reporting and liaison to client on an ongoing basis Checking delivery of finished product and related certification, prior to dispatch Assist department personnel with ongoing manufacture and maintenance projects

Required Skills/Experience:	Strong CAD skills, preferably with AutoCAD Experience of producing detailed mechanical drawings Experience of producing detailed structural drawings Detailing and tolerancing drawings for manufacture Experience of oil and gas, or equivalent industries Computer literate in MS Office packages
Desired Skills/Experience:	Experience with control systems (Electric / Hydraulic / Pneumatic) Experience of preparing reports for a regulated industry
Required Qualifications:	HND in Mechanical Engineering or a similar qualification Ideally draughting Apprentiship
