Pipeline Engineer - Lead

• Develop pipeline design basis
• Perform pipelines mechanical calculations including wall thickness; buckling check; curvature; and expansion calculations
• Perform pipeline crossing and external corrosion protection design
• Perform pipeline route selection trenching/ backfilling and crossing design
• Develop plan and profile drawings
• Develop alignment sheets
• Perform pipeline installation analysis/ study
• Provide material take off and bill of materials
• Prepare scope of work manhour and cost estimates for proposals


Status: Staff
Required Skills/Experience: • Bachelor of science/engineering degree level qualification in Mechanical /Civil & Structural Engineering
• Mnimum 15 years’ experience in pipeline engineering design work in Oil & Gas projects
• NACE Cathodic Protection certification is desirable
• Ablity to lead and function as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team to maintain clear understanding of design issues progress and objectives is required
• Work experience in the middle east and specially with Saudi Aramco will be preferred
