OilCareers crowned the Best Job Board

OilCareers.com, the world’s largest online dedicated oil & gas job board, has been named ‘Best Job Board’ for a second successive year at the Global Recruiter Asia Pacific Recruitment Industry Awards.

The 2013 award was presented at a gala dinner at the Marina Bay Sands hotel in Singapore on Thursday October 3.

Managing Director, Mark Guest said the repeated success reinforced OilCareers’ status as the leader amongst specialist online job boards.

“OilCareers.com is the undisputed giant of online recruitment within the oil and gas industry,” he said. “We have an array of features that set us apart from our competitors and provide recruiters with access to the largest global oil & gas recruitment community.

“OilCareers has more than 1.4 million registered job seekers and receives more than 8 million page impressions each month. We provide candidates with an easy and effective way of searching for a new job or career across all specialisms within the oil and gas industry, as well as areas of alternative energy.

“Our heritage, size and global reach mean we are best placed to match job seekers to the right job, and provide recruiters with the best value and range of advertising opportunities,” Mr Guest said.

Since its formation in 1999, OilCareers.com has steadily expanded its international presence. It bolstered its footprint in the Asia Pacific region in 2012 with the opening of offices in Perth and Brisbane.

“Our decision to expand into Australia was driven by a booming local industry and the opportunity to support Australian businesses looking to resource a significant pipeline of oil & gas projects,” said Mr Guest.

“The decision to invest has been well-founded as there remains a significant demand for labour in the oil & gas industry in Australia,” he said.
