Our Client has a vacancy for a Civil Engineer - Port Construction Project. This is a permanent position, based in Qatar.

Required for a large Greenfield seaport project development in Middle East. Candidates will be degree qualified (Bachelor of Engineering, specializing in Civil Engineering), and have substantial experience in any 2 - 3 of the following port construction utilities:

Responsible for the detailed design activities of concrete and steel structures. Preparation of design basis, calculation notes and preparation of Material Take Off. Check and review drawings . co-ordination with client and other discipline. Conduct site survey. Able to supervise engineer and designer.

Responsibilities:
Preparing tender prices from studying project drawings, designs and bills of quantities.
Analyzing and compiling data on construction factors, such as labour, materials, special machinery requirements, and site location.
